Tokeo Completes Milestone 2 in Catalyst Proposal: MasterCard Integration Progresses

Milestone 2: Tokeo x MasterCard Onboarding

Our second milestone focused on two critical aspects: legal onboarding and access the sandbox environment. Here’s what we accomplished:

Legal Onboarding

We successfully completed the Know Your Business (KYB) process with Mercuryo, which involved:

• Providing evidence of Tokeo’s business incorporation

• Verifying the identities of Tokeo’s beneficial owners

This rigorous process ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and establishes a solid foundation for our partnership.

Access Tooling

Tokeo developers have been granted access to the Mercuryo Sandbox environment. This crucial step allows us to:

• Begin development on credit card instantiation via Google and Apple Pay solutions

• Securely access the Mercuryo API and credit card issuance services

Impact on Development

This milestone’s completion enables our development team to:

• Commence server-side development

• Integrate credit card functionality into the Tokeo dApp

• Work towards the broader outcomes outlined in our proposal
